Befuzzled
Just about all I can say about my poor brain!!!
I have been working on my last assignment before "graduating"! I am ot sure how I ahve managed to fit so much studying in to such a short space of time but Hey... I did! I have however never worked on ANYTHING quite as difficult as this ... I am copy and structurally editing a piece on psychology! Any other subject (other than mathematics/law/accountancy/physics) would have been just fine but... PSYCHOLOGY?!?! I have no experience or knowledge in this field so am having to research EVERY fact to the point of brain explosion being very likely! I'm not even sure if the grammar and spelling rules are implemented correctly at the moment and I won't even begin with typsetting considerations and suggestions! It would have been so lovely to have been given a similar task on cookery, gardening, painting...in fact ANYTHING other than PSYCHOLOGY! I have an online questionaire to complete now I am nearing the end of my course and I shall in fact suggest that a selection of material is provided for the student to choose from in future course material (after all - when you take on a job, you are able to choose what subject material you would rather work with so why should it be different when you are learning the trade?)
Well, some of you moan I don't "blog" enough but now after that rant, I reckon you'll beg for the day I stop again?!
WAKE UP now, its all over...

Tired...but satisfied!
I have had SUCH a hectic time of it over the last few days....we let our maid go (thank goodness) so the day to day running of the Parker household has been down to me (and them!). I have actually really enjoyed being a "housewife" again but wish my standards weren't so high! To ttry and clean 7 bathrooms, toilets etc etc over 3 floors in 36 degree of heat is a logistical nightmare! Having said that, I have coped remarkably well...I have even had the curtains down and washed, made banana muffins (bananas from my garden no less) and even Scottish breakfast rolls! A handy carrier bag dispenser was designed and sewn this morning and both cars are now gleaming on my newly scrubbed drive! Grahams suits have all been refreshed and pressed and the dogs are in seventh heaven with longer walks than usual! Tomorrow I am going to tackle kids toys and clothes...no prisoners will be taken! All in all, a very satisfying though tiring experience! I wish my back would ease up a bit as I have had to resort back to the strong pain relief but its a small price to pay for the self satisfaction of knowing that not only has something been done right, its been done well!
Better dash...I only came upstairs to get the children some clean pyjamas!
Thanks for reading!

Patience is a virtue...
Wish I could be more patient...seems to be the more I try the worse I get?! I am SO tired. The kids are bored. I am grouchy! It has been a REALLY tough month....a "maid" who has caused me all sorts of pressure, a husband who has been travelling more than he's been home and a nasty bout of mycoplasma which has dragged on and one despite a multitude of pills and potions. My Doctor is a really sweetie though and actually rang me today to see how I am! This afternoon I have promised to take F and E ten pin bowling...I know it will be a mission in itself...I must learn to accept that is how things are and that I must put my calm head on .... !
Keep on smiling....nearly Crimbo, eh?!

Wake up call
Today is proof that my MS has not "disappeared"! I have been very lucky since living here in Singapore.....no major relapses and just a few "symptoms" indicate that I am in remission I guess?! Those symptoms however are not to be made light of.....the fatigue I am experiencing this afternoon has almost wiped me out.....couldn't even get off the sofa to make toast for lunch :-(
Never mind.....tomorrow will bring a new day........tomorrow I will be stronger.....MS will NOT get the better of me. I am stonger than it thinks.
